Innyard Privacy Policy
Last Modified: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Innyard, Inc. ("Innyard," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information in connection with our website, online platform, membership applications, Innyard Concierge, events, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
Collection and use of information
We collect and use the information described below to evaluate applications; establish and administer accounts and memberships; verify contact information; process payments; organize events; facilitate member discovery and introductions; personalize recommendations and Concierge assistance; respond to requests; and communicate about the Services. We also use information to maintain and improve the Services, measure performance and advertising effectiveness, promote Innyard, prevent misuse and fraud, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. We obtain consent where required by applicable law.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account the nature of the information, our relationship with you, operational needs, and legal requirements. We may retain information after an application, account, or membership ends to maintain necessary transaction and community records, resolve disputes, comply with law, protect security, and honor communication preferences. Information in backups may remain until those backups are replaced in the ordinary course. When information is no longer needed, we delete or deidentify it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain additional consent where required by law.
Information you directly provide us
We collect information you submit when applying, creating or updating an account or profile, contacting us, or participating in the Services. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, city, professional background, social or professional links, interests, goals, preferences, referrals, written responses, photographs, and application videos. We also collect messages and other content you send to Innyard Concierge, support requests, event submissions, and information you choose to share with members.
Our payment processor collects payment details to complete your purchases. We receive associated billing and transaction information, such as payment status, subscription details, and limited payment-method information. Please provide information about another person only when you are authorized to do so, and avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Information collected through your use of the Services
We maintain information about your membership, application status, reservations, attendance, waitlists, introductions, communication preferences, and interactions with Concierge and other features. We may create transcripts, summaries, recommendations, profile suggestions, and records of preferences or interests from information you provide. These records help us administer membership and personalize the Services. Profile visibility and introductions are subject to the choices and permissions applicable to those features.
Our AI features use third-party models through Vercel AI Gateway. We route requests under zero-data-retention and no-prompt-training arrangements with eligible model providers: those providers process request and response content to perform the requested function, without retaining that content after processing or using it to train their models. This does not mean Innyard deletes your conversations or other information immediately. Innyard retains information needed to provide the Services, including conversation history, preferences, and summaries, under the retention practices described above. Gateway and service providers may also process operational metadata, such as usage, timing, and billing records, separately from request and response content.
We may photograph or record events and use those materials for community, editorial, and promotional purposes under the permissions in our Terms of Service. Event photography permission does not authorize publication of private conversations or other confidential member information.
Information we collect automatically about your interaction with the Services
We and our service providers may automatically collect IP addresses, device and browser information, operating system, identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, referring pages, pages or features viewed, dates and times of visits, clicks, usage activity, and technical or error logs. Messaging and email services may provide delivery, response, and interaction information. We use this information to operate and secure the Services, understand engagement, troubleshoot problems, and measure communications and advertising.
Information collected from other sources
We may receive information from members who refer or interact with you; event organizers; payment, authentication, communications, and other service providers; and publicly available sources, including professional profiles you identify. If you choose a third-party sign-in or integration, we receive the information you authorize that provider to share. We may combine this information with information we already hold to administer applications and memberships, maintain accurate records, facilitate requested connections, and protect the Services.
Deidentified information
We may aggregate or deidentify information so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual and use or disclose it for analysis, research, service improvement, and other lawful purposes. Where required by law, we maintain reasonable measures to prevent identification, commit not to attempt reidentification except to assess our deidentification processes, and require recipients to observe the same restrictions.
Cookies and other tracking technologies
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure the Services, understand usage, and measure or personalize advertising. We use Google Analytics and advertising technologies from Google and Meta. These providers may collect identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device details, page visits, and interactions with our website or advertisements, and may associate that information with information from other websites or their own services.
You can adjust your browser settings to limit or delete cookies, although some features may not function properly. You may also manage advertising preferences through Google and Meta and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. These controls may be specific to a browser or device and do not necessarily stop every form of data collection. Google explains its use of partner-site information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Meta describes its practices at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
You may request that we stop disclosures for targeted advertising or any activity treated as a sale or sharing under applicable privacy law by contacting hi@innyard.com. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, and obtain consent before using nonessential tracking technologies. An opt-out does not prevent advertising that is not based on your activity across other businesses or services.
Disclosure of your information
We disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate the Services, including hosting and storage, authentication, application administration, payment processing, email and messaging, customer support, analytics, and AI processing. They receive information appropriate to their functions and are subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We disclose profile information, event participation details, and content to other members or event organizers as necessary for the features you use and consistent with applicable visibility choices. We share information needed to arrange introductions or group conversations subject to the required participant permissions; participating in a group text may reveal your telephone number to the other participants. Content you choose to make public, and event images used under the Terms of Service, may be available to a wider audience.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures of online identifiers and browsing or interaction information to Google, Meta, and other advertising partners may constitute a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws. Those disclosures support advertising and measurement and are subject to the choices described above. We do not provide private Concierge conversations or confidential application materials to advertising partners for their advertising purposes. Mobile messaging opt-in and consent information is not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes; it may be disclosed to providers that help deliver and administer our messages.
We may also disclose information with your direction or consent; to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; to enforce agreements or protect rights, safety, and security; and in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate protections. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you reside. We apply legally required safeguards to applicable transfers.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may link to or interact with websites, applications, venues, and services operated by third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party services, and we encourage you to review their notices before providing information.
Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults eighteen (18) years of age or older and are not directed to children. We do not seek or knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact hi@innyard.com so that we can investigate and delete the information as appropriate.
Data security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to us.
